In 1973, Billups-Rothenberg, Inc. (BRI) pioneered the development of low-cost tissue culture incubators. Nearly 50 years later, our proven designs have become the de facto standard for hypoxic experiments. These products are considered essential tools for fields such as stem cell and malaria research and are used in thousands of laboratories worldwide. We currently provide a full range of O2/CO2 tissue culture incubators and supporting systems for the creation of various in vitro environments.
In 2021, BRI was sold to a newly created company, Embrient Inc., to continue selling BRI products and to provide funding for future,
innovative new products. The entire BRI product line and management team were retained intact.
